F. Wood Saddler

F. Wood Saddler

LO of an advertisement used in the saddler's shop in Wakefield showing off the strength of the travelling cases available. Looks like they would have survived a few crops!

And a scan of the pamphlet announcing the opening of the shop in 1891. The advertisement stood in the window of the shop from the time it was taken (possibly in the 30s) until it was closed in the late 60s.

Didn't really have any manly embellishments except the buckles to make the strap. So it's a little plain, but I like it.

Journaling box is from CK Retro/Vintage/Heritage CD and is one of the "book cover" sets. Added journaling in Photoshop to match the colour of the border, etc.

So, just K&Co., Pebbles Inc. and 7Gypsies paper plus a bit of K&Co. leather paper and brass buckles and brads, and that's it...
