Snip, snip

It's been a while since I updated my style file, mainly because I've not really bought any scrapping mags in the past year that I am happy to cut up. I still have my sub to Scrapbook Trends in the US so those are stacking up nicely on my shelves - those definitely won't be undergoing to style file treatment!

So when I went in search of what I could add to my file, this was the only mag I found! Shocking really, it's the last copy of CK I bought (and mainly for the coupons) back in April last year...

At least it shouldn't take me long to cut out what I want to keep! LOL

Aside from those organising endeavours I managed to catch up with last night's Big Bang Theory episode - OMG Sheldon in the ball pool was so hilarious:

Back to the sketches...

I've combined the CaD challenge for January 5th with CPS sketch 148. Over the summer I had a lend of that very nice SU big shot die that so many people have and cut about 60 odd labels from various scraps, it's very nice flicking through the pile of labels and finding some nice gems!

Prompt: "Happy Bird Day" - Inspiration: Bird, a square card, and/or sentiment in a circle using 2 different fonts

I think I've actually ticked all the boxes this time! Shocking! hehe

Rub-on: Prima
Stamp: Papertrey Ink
Other: Ribbon, Stickles

It's a shame that American Crafts green cardstock doesn't photograph as well as the red ribbon, the colour is much nicer in real life.

Well, I think that's it for the day. No doubt the actual creating of things will slow down over the next week and I hope I manage to get up at 7 tomorrow, as I've got rather used to late nights and late mornings! lol

Oh and I have seen that BBC 2 are showing Nurse Jackie tomorrow - this series has been recced to me from the US so I'll be checking it out. :o) Hopefully it will be good, I am still waiting for a UK station to show United States of Tara, from what I saw it was a great series!
