Morning all!
Well, this may well be the last project in 2024 featuring tiny houses on it!
Yep, I managed to make a batch of 8 cards with the Home for the Holidays houses and the coordinating Card Stacks Base with the rest of the houses and elements I cut back in September.
And here are some of them:
Stamps: Neat & Tangled - Winter Wishes (r)
Dies: Concord & 9th - Home for the Holidays Stacks, Concord & 9th - Card Stacks Base
Stencil: Simon Says Stamp - Falling Snow
So for the bases to these houses, I used two slightly different shades of 12x12 Bazzill cardstock.
I then stencilled the Falling Snow on the middle area of the card stacks with white ink and blasted it with the heat gun to set.
I then cut all the strips for the three layers, and ran them through the Sidekick with the snowdrift border die.
I then stamped the front strips with the sentiment from Neat & Tangled's Winter Wishes set, which I still love. That Papercute font! :D
Then it was time to assemble all the strips inside the card bases, and add all the elements.
Finally, I added a dusting of Rock Candy glitter to all the snowdrifts, the tree tops, roofs and other areas in need of some wintry sparkle.
And finally, those little houses were all used up!
I hope that this set can now go away until 2025! I may have had my fill of assembling fiddly (though ever so pretty) house dies!
