Pop on over to my Instagram for a quick little update about some projects I'll be sharing there this week! :D
I recently was invited to create some projects for Uniko Ltd's October/November release of festive stamps.
And here's a round up of what I made:
This card features the Christmas Pop stamp set that allows you to create Christmas trees of different designs.
I kept things simple and just chose some fun gumdrop shades of ink for the trees and used an airmail border to frame the panel. I also used a sentiment from this next set.
The Pure Florals Poinsettia stamp set includes an outline image of a poinsettia and lots of sentiments to mix and match:
I went out of my comfort zone for this card by using heat embossing and masking to add colour to the stamped image and surrounding.
And of course there had to be lots of festive splatter added to the mix!
Next up we have the Background Blocks Snow Flurry stamp set, which I stamped several times to cut into little presents:
Again the sentiment here is from the Poinsettia set above:
Next up is one of my favourite makes in the bunch, showcasing the Big Bold Joy stamp set:
The set includes little decorative elements as well as the bold italicised wording.
I used cardstock strip dies and a glittery fringe border die from The Stamp Market to emphasise the angled sentiment.
Finally, there's a little stamp set that focuses on twinkly lights - the Framed Fairy Lights stamps:
I embossed the fairy light frame in white and blended pink inks over it so that I could then go in with a water colour pen to add more colour variations to the lights and a touch of sparkle here and there.
I trimmed down the pink panel and mounted it on some silver glitter paper, added a sentiment from the same set, and some sparkly sequins to finish it all off!
