Hi everyone!
I'm popping in to share more details about a few of the cards I made using the new Postage Collage Poinsettias from Waffle Flower Crafts for their Christmas in July 2024 release!
It was a real honour to be invited to guest design for them, and an absolute treat to work with their supplies - and Christmas supplies no less! My absolute favourite kind of card makes!
So on with the show!
Supply list:
- Postage Collage – Poinsettia Stencil
- Elegant Christmas 2 Stamp Set
- Elegant Christmas 2 Matching Die
- Royal Mail Stamp Set
- Postage Collage Die
- Season's Greetings Paper Pad
For this card, I went with a bold and bright colour palette for the poinsettias and holly.
The stamped details are all from the new Royal Mail postmarks set, bar the cancellation mark, which is actually from the Postage Collage Beach Days stamp set. At the time of creating these cards the original Postage Collage stamp set was still out of stock in the UK, and I only had the Beach Days stamp set to fall back on. But it still does the job nicely!
The Elegant Christmas 2 set is a great addition to my arsenal of festive sentiments. They are the perfect size to add to your Postage Collage projects and to A2 cards in general.
Finally, I popped up the Postage Collage background on one of the new papers in the Season's Greetings paper pad, which is already cut to A2 size. There are some fantastic designs for your Postage Collage projects in that pad: woodgrains, stripes, snowflakes, and holly, and these pine boughs.
Next up, a softer take on the Postage Collage Poinsettias - this time paired with another new Poinsettia set: the Poinsettia Die-n-Stencil combo:
- Poinsettia Die-n-stencil
- Postage Collage – Poinsettia Stencil
- Elegant Christmas 2 Stamp Set
- Elegant Christmas 2 Matching Die
- Postage Collage Die
- Postage Collage Coloring Stencil
I couldn't quite give up those pink poinsettias against an aqua blue background, so this time I went with warmer blush/bubblegum tones and pretty light blue for the Postage Collage Poinsettias, echoed together with a festive green tone in the larger stencilled Poinsettia die cuts.
Again, I used one of the sentiments from the Elegant Christmas 2 set, and backed the Postage Collage panel with some champagne glitter cardstock.
Finally, I added a festive pink and red stripe to my card base using the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil.
I hope you've enjoyed all the inspiration shared so far for this release. I've definitely been adding more new-to-me items to my wish list as sneak peeks were shared last week!
Until next time, happy crafting!
