They Sky's the Limit - Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Morning all!

This week's Daring Cardmakers challenge is all about creating sky scenes. :)

Perfect for a Christmas in July take on the theme!

So, of course, I had to feature the wonderful Waffle Flower Postage Collage Snowmen again!

Paper: Waffle Flower - Season's Greetings
Stamp: Waffle Flower - Postage Collage North Pole
Dies: Waffle Flower - Postage Collage
Stencils: Waffle Flower - Postage Collage Snowman

I used a mix of Stormy Sky Distress ink and Lawn Fawn's Deep Sea ink for the sky.

Going over the arms and buttons with Black Soot, and while the stencil was still in place, I covered the openings for the faces and buttons, and splattered the sky with white ink - a veritable blizzard!

I then popped up the Postage Collage panel on the dark snowflake background from the Waffle Flower paper pad, and added one of the sentiments from the North Pole stamp set inside a Postage Collage die - adding Stormy Sky ink around the outside and some Wink of Stella for sparkle.

Finally, I added Twinkle Stickles to the buttons on the snowmen so they have a little sparkle when they catch the light.
