I'm over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with a simple floral card project.
I fancied making a full floral background for a card, and immediately thought of the Print Shop Modern Botanical stamp and stencil set.
It's been a while since this set was out on my desk, and this would also be the perfect opportunity to try it out on super pale pink cardstock.
The results are softer than on a harsh white and just give a warmer tone to the inks I used.

The matching Modern Botanical dies are great for adding a little dimension (and covering up any stencilling boo-boos - ask me how I know...), so I cut them from some more of the pale pink cardstock, popped them on my Waffle Flower grip mat and coloured them with the stencils and stamps.
I also added some details with white pen and Glossy Accents, and once again reached for a favourite sentiment set.
The Sign Off Sentiments from The Greetery have been handier than I ever imagined.
I love this font combo and the fact that the matching dies cut out the full sentiment. (The dies are currently out of stock, but are due back the second week of June - so just sign up to be notified via the product listing.)
And for a change, I stamped my sentiment in dark grey ink on cream cardstock to keep that soft look.
