I'm back with another card inspire by Julie's Baseball Cards series over on Instagram.
Here's prompt #3:
As Julie says, the card inspiration is:
- Their green, golden yellow, and white uniforms and their elephant mascot Stomper.
And here's what I made:
Stamps: The Greetery - Opposites Attract, The Greetery - Print Shop: Daisy Days
Dies: The Greetery - Opposites Attract, The Greetery - Print Shop: Daisy Days, The Greetery - Crimped Frame
I decided to focus on the green, golden yellow, and white by featuring daisies in the form of the Daisy Days Print Shop set from The Greetery/
I started out by cutting the full die from white cardstock and then going in with the stencils to add all the steps except the daisies themselves.
To make those daisies pop, I used grey ink on the buds and petals and also cut and stamped the separate flowers to add more dimension.
I then created a card base with steely blue-grey cardstock tones in homage to Stomper the elephant mascot.
Finally, all that was needed was a bold sentiment and the Opposites Attract set obliged! :)
