Morning!
I'm back with another card inspire by Julie's Baseball Cards series over on Instagram.
So there's quite a bit of off-white/cream here with the pop of red and yellow.
But well, I couldn't stop there, I added in some blue too!
I had planned to definitely use the red horse paper in the Willow Lane collection as my main background, and here's how things developed:
Papers and ephemera: Crate Paper - Maggie Holmes - Willow Lane (r)
Stamp: Flora & Fauna - Everyday Word Party
Dies: Pretty Pink Posh - Stitched Strips, PTI - Tag Sale #10 (r), The Stamp Market - Fringe Borders
I used other papers from that collection to incorporate the contrasting border at the bottom and the mustard yellow fringe and stitched edge detail.
I found a cool sentiment in the matching ephemera pack and simply stamped an extra sentiment directly on it, then to make it stand out I grabbed a tag die and more Willow Lane paper.
To bring everything together, I deployed an old Martha Stewart butterfly punch to cut little blue and yellow butterflies.
Until next time, happy crafting!
