Over on the Daring Cardmaker's blog today, Jenny has picked this image for our April elemental inspiration challenge:
I was inspired by the little yellow flowers (which could be Mimosa?), the colours combining yellow, kraft, and pink, and the spring/Easter theme complete with Easter eggs:

I started out by creating my Mimosa stamped background on white cardstock in the Misti. The branches are stamped in Greenery ink from The Stamp Market, then I used Citrus Burst Altenew ink and Sweet Mustard Pinkfresh ink for the flowers.
I then ran the stamped panel through the Big Shot using the Jumbo Tag die from The Stamp Market.
I was going to layer it on a plain card base, but the pattern looked too stark against grey and pale pink, so for a little extra spring detail I splattered the pale rose card base with metallic copper gansai tambi paint, white ink, and some watered down guava dye ink from Lawn Fawn. I also splattered the kraft oval in white ink for extra detail.
I set those aside to dry while I used Distress Oxide inks on daubers and blending brushes to colour in the bouquet of Spring Findings die-cuts, which includes some tiny blue Easter eggs in the mix.
I used Scattered Straw for the bow detail to bring in a bit more sunny yellow.
Then I found the perfect sentiment from the Springtime set that would work behind the bouquet and coloured the matching banner in with Kiddie Pool blue ink.
Once everything was ready to assemble, I added a button tied with twine to the top of the tag to finish off that spring look.
