DCM - Just Checking

Good morning!

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog the challenge is all about using check patterns.

I managed to find some Lawn Fawn paper in my stash old Simon Says Stamp kits that would do the job:

Paper: Lawn Fawn
Stamps: Flora & Fauna - Everyday Word Party, The Stamp Market - So Mini Hellos
Dies: The Stamp Market - So Mini Hellos, Mama Elephant - Oval Deco Frame, PTI - Tag Sale #2
Other: Copic markers

I framed the paper background with the large Deco Frame from Mama Elephant layered up with two die cuts. In hindsight, I probably should have cut them from a different colour of cardstock, but I was committed by this point. ;)

The Mini and balloon elements were all created with the So Mini Hellos set from The Stamp Market, coloured in with Copics and some white details added with a pen.

They're mounted on a cream Tag Sale tag from PTI and finally a sentiment from the Everyday Word Party set from Flora and Flora finishes off the card.
