DCM - April elemental inspiration

Good morning!

It's the first Friday of a new month so time for another elemental inspiration challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog.

This month's image was chosen by Jenny:

For my three elements I went with a lacy scalloped edge, typewriter, and heart:

Paper: Crate Paper - Little Bo Peep (r)
Stamp: SugarPea Designs - You're My Type
Dies: SugarPea Designs - You're My Type, Pinkfresh Studio - Diagonal Stitched Rectangles, The Stamp Market - Easter Egg Shaker, The Stamp Market - Scalloped Window Frame

As soon as I saw this photo I knew I had to use my SugarPea Designs typewriter die set for the focal point of my card.

I never tire of using this set of dies and stamps, and for this card I wanted to try out a different aperture combo to showcase the typewriter.

I created a frame by taping the largest Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio to the Scalloped Window Frame die from The Stamp Market and running them through my Big Shot together.

I chose some green-friendly papers from the Little Bo Peep pad by Crate Paper that came out in 2012 - almost a decade old, who'd have thought it?

For finishing touches I added a floral accent from the Easter Egg Shaker die set cut from cardstock scraps, adding a pearl to the centre.

Finally, for a pop of colour, I added a bright pink heart to the sentiment.

Love your take on the inspiration Nat, the typewriter caught my eye too! The pop of the little heart is a perfect finishing touch!
