DCM - Whatever the weather

Good morning!

This week's Daring Cardmakers challenge comes from Svenja. :) We're showcasing our not-so-unique-to-the-British fascination with the weather on our cards.

Here's my take:

Paper: Cocoa Vanilla Studio - Daydream
Stamp: Hello Bluebird - Rainbow Script
Dies: Poppy Stamps - Raining Frame, Lawn Fawn - Hearts, Mama Elephant - Oval Deco Frame

This challenge was the perfect excuse I needed to dig out my Poppy Stamps Raining Frame die again.

I actually used some left-over panels from some recent cards that I made with the Mama Elephant Oval Deco frame as a topper for this card.

Once the raining frame was die-cut, I inked it up with Lawn Fawn Kiddie Pool and Merman inks and coloured the umbrella die cut with Sweet Mustard ink and Copic pens, and a touch of white pen for highlights.

I added an apt sentiment from Hello Bluebird, sparkly sequins, and a little heart to finish off the panel.

Then I mounted it on my card base covered in paper from the Daydream collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
