DCM - Gorgeous Gifts

Good morning!

It's Friday, so a break from me posting my Countdown to Christmas cards in order to share my card for this week's Daring Cardmakers challenge.

Our theme is gifts and what better reason to finally put to use one of the tags I made earlier this year when I was playing with the So Mini Hellos stamp set from The Stamp Market:

Paper: Pebbles - Cozy & Bright (r), Pink Paislee - Auburn Lane (r)
Stamps: The Stamp Market - So Mini Hellos, Hello Bluebird - Typed Christmas
Dies: Pinkfresh Studio - Artistic Bows, PTI - Tag Sale #1

I'm steadily using up cut-offs from previous Christmas paper collections where possible for cards rather than cutting into any new sheets at the moment, so the backdrop for the stamped tag was created with the papers listed below plus a festive candy cane stripe for the bow.

I finished off the bow with a button from October Afternoon. I am starting to run low on some of my most used colours in the buttons I did manage to buy before October Afternoon came to an end - in fact the shape shown here is the one I use the most and wish I knew the style in case it's readily available in haberdasheries. I've never seen this style of button in craft stores around here.

So that's one more card for the 2020 Christmas card collection... it's not long now until I have to start writing them.

Is it just me that totally forgets that now I've made all the cards, I actually need to write all the cards? LOL
