It's a day of experimentation for today's card project:
Stamps: The Stamp Market - Merry background, The Stamp Market - Candy Cane Christmas, Flora & Fauna - Holiday Word Party
Die: Lil' Inker Designs - Stitched Stars (r)
I made my own background paper with the aid of the Merry background stamp from The Stamp Market filled in with the coordinating word stamp from the Candy Cane set using a selection of festive ink colours.
I didn't want to cover up the background I'd created, so instead showcased the sentiment with an aperture and popped up the panel on 3D foam tape.
It also made a nice change to use a non-white card base and the aqua tones really brought out the other vibrant colours. :)
