My project today is definitely not on the spooky side - unless snowmen freak you out. ;)
Yes, it's the next instalment in my card countdown to Christmas.
So earlier this year I decided that I wanted to try to use more of the festive (and indeed non-festive) paper pads and ephemera/embellishments I have amassed over previous years.
One collection I never really used to its max was Snow & Cocoa from Crate Paper.
I really like a lot of the patterns and especially the colours in this collection. But with the theme being intended for winter scrapbooking projects the versatility for Christmas card projects turned out to be a little limited for me when I actually sat down to use it back in the day. It was a mental stumbling block for me, but there's no reason I can't just go with the wintry theme and see how far I can translate into Christmas projects.

As you can see I've tried to incorporate those pieces of ephemera with a collage style, and have also added texture and layers to the papers: a stitched rectangle for the back paper panel and using my scissors to fringe the strip of paper that's almost a spotty kraft style.
I just needed some apt sentiments that went with that typewriter font of the Snowday list, plus if they could be skinny that would be ideal.
