Sympathy cards

Sympathy cards are never an easy project, and I usually only make them when there is sadly occasion to do so.

There was a family bereavement in Poland in late July and I needed some cards to send out to various family members.

I asked my mum what colours she'd like me to use, and she said purple, so this is what I made:

Stamps: Memory Box - Big and Little Words, Pinkfresh Studio - Modern Layered Floral, The Greetery - Just Mason Around
Dies: Pinkfresh Studio - Modern Layered Floral, The Greetery - Just Mason Around, Pinkfresh Studio - Diagonal Stitched Rectangles
Other: Distress Ink

I used the ink smooshing technique with Distress Inks to create the watercolour look for the background. The Modern Layered Floral stamp set is really versatile and also looks pretty in purple and grey tones.

I paired it with the Just Mason Around stamp and die set and finished off with a simple sentiment by Memory Box.
