Good morning!
Sorry the prompt is a little late this morning.
I had a vision-related migraine episode Wednesday evening and though my vision was back to normal yesterday morning (thankfully) I had to take it a bit easier with my time staring at a screen, so didn't manage to draft the prompt last night.
But here is our may inspiration:
Lots of lovely late spring/early summer elements for many occasions:
- Retro theme - the colour palette lends itself well to many 1950s and 20th century elements: typewriters, radios, record players, jukeboxes, old-fashioned fairgrounds with all the trimmings.
- Floral focus - this is the season for peonies, roses, big blooms. You could also think about presenting flowers in a crate, decorative containers, mason jar, or glass bottles.
- Balloons - why not try some second generation stamping to create a balloon background or dig out those underused balloon stamp sets and dies and see what comes to you.
- Sky/cloud backgrounds - plenty of scope for creating ink blended backgrounds or using stencils to create clouds
- Polka dots/gingham/diamond backgrounds - create your own background rather than relying on paper, or if you have 6x6 paper pads that need depleting go to town with them!
- Something sweet - baked goods or a sweet sentiment, the choice is yours!
I hope those ideas have got you thinking.
Until next time, happy crafting!
Lots of ideas there. Thanks Nat.
