DCM - Umbrella

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog Kathy is challenging us to feature an umbrella-ella-ella on our card projects. Sorry, I can never say umbrella without thinking of that song!

This was actually the perfect challenge to use some "new" supplies I bought back in February. The Raining Frame cover plate and Whittle Hedgehog both from Poppy Stamps, and of course another outing for my Hello Bluebird Rainbow Script stamps.

The cover plate is cut from Neenah White cardstock and I simply blended some Tumbled Glass Oxide ink here and there.

The umbrella is cut out automatically by the plate and for that I used two tones of yellow Oxide ink plus a copic to colour the handle. I coloured the hedgehog with Copics too and added highlights with a white pen.

I used 3D foam to pop up the umbrella and hedgehog, and mounted the card panel on some lovely rainbow paper from Simple Stories.

Finally, I added some raindrops in the form of sparkly sequins. :)

I can see this panel being used for many occasions down the road. I wonder if there are any other Whittle animals that could also enjoy a ride dangling from the umbrella...
