After countless times seeing the results that Betsy Veldman has achieved in her project posts, photos and videos for The Greetery, I succumbed and bought myself a box of 40 ink daubers over on amazon uk.
I'm not new to daubers, in fact I had a couple of boxes of 3 x Tsukineko daubers that came with some craft orders in the early days of my cardmaking adventure back in 2002 or so. Sadly when I went to retrieve those daubers the sponge had totally disintegrated and they were simply unusable.
So it was time to update my stash - in proper fashion!
I've given them their first outing with my Distress Oxides (yay a way I can use these inks for techniques other than blending backgrounds) and am really pleased with the results. I can't share a pic just yet, but I'm tempted to dig out another stamp set to experiment with.
But it's just far too hot to be at my craft desk right now – especially if a heat gun is involved. LOL Crafting in 29 degrees C with no fan yesterday was enough!
I've linked up the set I bought on UK amazon (probably going to reserve it just for my Distress Oxides and get another one for dye inks if I need it down the line) and I've sought out similar products at Ellen Hutson and Scrapbook.com too in case you prefer to shop there:

I just hope Betsy will take The Greetery wholesale one day very soon so we can get her products here in the UK. My wish list is really stacking up!
It's just not feasible to regularly purchase directly from US manufacturers for us UK crafters, and it's so much more reliable to purchase products domestically. My August order from Simon Says Stamp is sadly out there somewhere - last seen in Germany almost two weeks ago... I really hope it turns up soon because it has my most recent purchases from The Stamp Market in there too! Another company I would love to see stocked in the UK (be still my heart at their recent ink news and previews on Instagram!).
Please send your positive postal vibes into the ether in hopes my previous order will turn up soon!
In the meantime here's the video showing how Betsy uses her Oxides and daubers to inspire you and make you succumb as well! LOL
