DCM - Come fly with me...

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog, Svenja has challenged us to showcase something that flies on our cards.

Well thankfully I had another watercolour panel that I'd worked on recently available to hand and it features the lovely butterfly background stamp from Simon Says Stamp. Perfect for this occasion!

This is another instance where I wanted to do some colour work on cardstock that wasn't white. I really like how vibrant the colours turned out on the foggy grey background.

I'm trying to get my money's worth from those Deco Heart dies, layered up in the same colour they provide a great background for sentiments so they don't get lost on busy backgrounds.

For a finishing touch I added a few neutral sequins but also used white Nuvo drops to go over the dots created by the background stamp for an extra detail.
