A special festive card

The Christmas countdown continues over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week as we turn our attention now to those extra special cards we make. :)

And of course who should be receiving my special card, but my darling little niece. :)

So here is her festive bear card:

Paper and ephemera: Crate Paper - Snow & Cocoa
Dies: Mama Elephant - Madison Avenue, Sizzix - Animal Portraits, Simon Says Stamp - Christmas Blessings, Lil' Inker Designs - Holly Jolly
Other: 3D foam tape, wink of stella pen, Copics

I cut the bear from white cardstock but didn't realise it was Bristol Smooth and well, when it came to colouring in the bits and pieces, the ink just kept seeping all over the place, so it's not looking that even on the photo but in real life it was just about ok.

I added a little ephemera from the matching die-cuts for this collection in the form of those snow-peaked mountains and the sentiment and holly dies combined with the scalloped frame bring everything together.

I hope little miss likes it. :D
