As you can probably tell from the lack of updates over the past few months, I've not really been in a very creative head space and I've just not been able to enjoy sitting down and making something. So rather than force it, I've taken a bit of a step back in the hopes creativity and inspiration will return so I can enjoy making handmade projects once more!
However, this week marked a very special celebration indeed - my niece turned one!
So there had to be a handmade card for the occasion. :D

Lots of little elements went into this - I started off with picking some papers and accents from My Mind's Eye's Hooray line and found a great background paper in that cream on aqua dot pattern from Shimelle's first collection for American Crafts. One of the foiled decorative tags was just the right size for personalising the card and my collection of flag-tail dies proved most handy for adding the stamped "ONE" and coordinating narrow tails cut from cardstock.
The birthday girl had quite a day and enjoyed her party too. :D
