We celebrated a very special day at the weekend - and in glorious style too!
My little niece's Christening day. :D And of course, it called for a special card.
Paper: Crate Paper, Bella Boulevard, Simple Stories
Dies: Mama Elephant, Lawn Fawn, MFT, PTI
Chipboard alpha stickers: Basic Grey
Other: typewriter, twine, sewing machine, watercolour paints, sequins, Nuvo Crystal Drops
I had lots of fun water colouring the letters and balloon I die-cut from watercolour paper. In fact it is such a nice way to get the shades you want without having to cut individual letters from different cardstock shades.
I was also honoured to be asked to be Godmother and one of the gifts I gave was the beautifully illustrated "My Little Picture Bible" from DK. It is just perfect - the illustrations, the length of text is just right for bedtime reading, and there are little activities on most of the pages. :)
The little lady herself was so well behaved the entire day, like she is most days, and took the celebrations in stride!
All the adults required a few days to recover... hehe The garden beanbag got dragged out for its first outing of the year:
We also had some fun story time this past week:
