Well, the weekend flew by in the blink of an eye with lots of Mother's Day celebrations on both days.

Here's the card I made for my mum:

Paper: Crate Paper
Stamps: Avery Elle, WPlus9
Dies: Avery Elle, Simon Says Stamp
Other: 3D foam tape, dye inks (see below), Nuvo crystal drops

I had great fun trying out some new product for this card - it was the first proper outing for some of my new Lawn Fawn ink cubes and the first outing for the lovely WPlus9 Whimsy alpha stamps that I purchased while I was working long days and enjoying crafting vicariously through the medium of online shopping! Ha!

I also took out my Avery Elle Laurels stamps and dies from their underused state and added some florals and the pink bow as finishing touch.

And speaking of finishing touches, I found that the Duck Egg Blue Nuvo Crystal drops by Tonic were the perfect complementing colour to go with all those bright shades. :)
