I recently finally took the plunge and ordered a WRMK 1-2-3 punch board which makes envelopes, bows, boxes and other handy little elements.
I snagged one in early January from amazon but the price seems to have shot up since then.
But anyway, I made my first trial project with it with the aid of a few Youtube videos and am pleased to report this could finally be a way for me to use up 12x12 sheets of paper in a creative way! :) The first item I made was a gift box for an upcoming birthday and I've got a stack of cards that are too lumpy or oversized for their matching envelopes so that will be my next task, using the envelope generator to hopefully make some card box style envelopes for them.
I also have a couple of additions to my Simon Says Stamp die collection after having to order Tim Holtz ink cube storage tins from there as they were all out of stock in the UK or only available at an inflated price on amazon. So I am well stocked with storage tins and also have these fab dies to put to use soon:
And the Birthday Wishes Frame die, which I hope to get a lot of use from as I do love a nice frame die. ;)
I think it would look great with a shaker card effect behind it, but that would require me to get some acetate and beads and sequins that would do the job and I'm not sure how many shaker cards are in my future, so not sure it's worth the expense for me. It would be the crafting equivalent of opening a whole can of worms when it comes to trying to narrow down what sequins and beads to get which are "essential"! lol
So better to not go there!
Right, think it's time for a nice soak in the bath perhaps with a booth and hopefully a better night's sleep than I got last night!
