Over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week, we're taking a step back from the cards again and sharing ideas for those little extra handmade decorative accents.
I've not had much free time available this past week, so I'm sharing a project I made last year that I'm planning to reuse this Christmas.
It's a bottle decoration - since it is the season where I tend to buy more bottle-related gifts for people than any other - and not just alcohol!
Oh no, I have a few Belvoir fans in my circle who really enjoy the Christmas punch and my new favourite cordial for winter, Ginger and Apple cordial - it is seriously lush!
But anyway, here's a handy little decorative accent to add a little festive twist:
All you need to do is die-cut two different sized stars from some nice festive paper, score from each point to the opposite indent, fold along the lines and create these 3D stairs. Then add some string and add more decoration. :)
Hop on over to the blog to see the lovely projects from the design team!
That's a clever little idea. I might "copy" it for the next bottle gift ;-)
