Good morning everyone!
Welcome to the very last prompts of the 2016 card challenge.
My how the year has flown by!
As we've also entered December it's definitely a good excuse to feature a double Christmas/winter prompt selection.
Here's the main prompt:
Well how gorgeous is this photo? It basically sums up all the little details I love from my own Christmas memories. Lovely festive embroidered table coverings, some very old but still vibrant glass baubles, tasty treats, outdoor foliage brought indoors... and warm white fairy lights.
So what inspiration could you take?
- Deck the boughs - feature pine sprigs, branches, pine cones, more sparse Christmas trees
- Red/crimson for a pop of colour on an otherwise neutral card
- Stars - look at those sprinkles, perhaps it's time to do a shaker card?
- Rustic twine
- A winter scene - a la the embroidery of the church
- Baubles/lights
And as for this month's Christmas prompt - well have at it!
There's so much here to inspire you:
Seriously, sooo many possibilities! Each of those little images would make a great card. If nothing else you can take inspiration from the colour combos used.
I especially like the idea of featuring some cute winter creatures on a card!
We'll see what I go with!
Hope you enjoy this last round of prompts and as always, happy crafting!
