Well here we are - on the way out of summer and into autumn!
I can happily report that my office/craft space is all moved back in again so normal service will hopefully be resuming now. :)
Just in time as I have a few crafty to-do list items to take care of this week along with the other list of everyday items!
This month's prompts reflect the upcoming shift in the seasons, although personally I shall try and enjoy ever last drop of sunshine and warmth we are blessed with. ;)
Plenty of options for this one:
- Everything and anything autumn
- Woodland/nature themes - including lots of opportunities for cute scenes and critters
- Plaid patterns à la the blanket
- Knitted patterns - whether paper/embossing stencils
- Detailed striped patterns inspired by those socks
- Comforting wishes - get well, thinking of you, etc. based on that bowl of soup
- Celebrate the weather - umbrellas, rainbows, clouds, sunshine, etc.
- Keep calm and drink hot chocolate or a cuppa of whatever you fancy
- Incorporate some of the standout colours from the image in your card - pops of red, teal, yellow or orange
And for the festive prompt now that we're drawing ever nearer:
Feature some well-known festive characters and faces on your card, there's lots of scope for Father Christmas, snowmen, cute winter critters, and of course more religious cards. You could even go with a more folk art style. :)
Happy crafting!
