...not only is it one of my favourite films, but it happens to be the theme for this week's Daring Cardmakers challenge set by Dawn.
I was definitely itching to do a wintry take on it and what better excuse to open up the new 6x6 pad from My Mind's Eye's Sugar Plum collection - my first festive purchase of 2016!
Paper: MME - Sugar Plum
Stamps: WPlus9, Avery Elle, Neat & Tangled
Dies: Lil' Inker Designs, WPlus9, Avery Elle, PTI
Other: 3D foam tape, Stickles
I wanted to create a decorative window scene looking out into a winter wonderland, and the 6x6 pad actually has such a scene that you could use in possibly three cards from one sheet. I decked the halls a little on the window using the fab Merry & Bright stamp and die set from WPlus9 which has some great boughs, pine cones, holly and berry accents, then I finished it off with the festive looking bow from the Avery Elle Laurels set. And of course there had to be Stickles to complement the glittered paper.
There are some fantastic views from windows over on the Daring Cardmakers blog from the rest of the design team so definitely go check them out! :)
Happy crafting!
