Box cards galore!

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog Dawn has challenged us to make some cards that are a little bit different - box cards!

This was a brand new project for me - I've never made dimensional cards like this so I went in search of some instructions and ultimately used the dimensions provided here.

I was trying to think what would go nicely in an exploding box and well the Simon Says Stamp May card kit fit the bill!

Paper: Lawn Fawn
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp
Other: sequins, 3D foam tape, Promarkers

It was a bit tricky to get a photo of the whole thing so that the sides were included, but all the cute and smiley items in the Happy Days stamp set were just perfect for popping out of that box - the sequins from the kit also added a nice colourful touch. :)

We could really do with some sunny days ahead here as I am dog sitting from this afternoon through next week and I was looking forward to some nice walks - without rain!
