I had a lovely crafty weekend away last week in Whitby - it started off with a very wintry Friday then we made the most of the sunshine come Saturday morning:
So sunny in fact that I didn't need to wear my coat until we hit the end of the pier:
It was all change on the walk back up the hill though, 15 minutes in and it was hail central followed by a lot of rain.
Sunday we managed a quick walk to the West Cliff end but it lashed it down much of the way - thank heavens for nice filters that made it look not so wet!
So in between all the food, chatting and walking I did manage to make a couple of things.
I caught up with some prompts.
Today's card is based on the main prompt for March:
I was wanting to create a card that featured a sketchy style of colouring with black outlines, and well time to revisit an old stamp set!
Paper: Crate Paper, Basic Grey
Stamps: WPlus9, PTI
Dies: WPlus9, PTI, MFT
Other: enamel dots, 3D foam tape
I was really wanting to make the most of the zingy ink colours I'd brought with me, so time for a combination of raspberry pinks and aqua! I really should use the pretty peonies stamp set more, I'd not used it yet with the black outlines, but I rather like them when paired with really vivid colours. Perhaps it's time for aqua next time! :)
so very pretty girl! TFS
