So it's time to share my card projects for the May card challenge.
Here's a reminder of the prompts:
I really liked the zingy colours and wanted to feature flowers in a vase.
Enter a favourite WPlus9 stamp set of mine - Coming Up Roses.
Paper: MME, Dear Lizzy
Stamps: WPlus9, Simon Says Stamp
Dies: WPlus9, Lil' Inker Designs
Other: 3D foam tape, enamel dot
I used bright inks from my collection of PTI ink cubes for the 2-step flowers and leaves. While I was at it I stamped all the other die-cuts that had gone through the machine at the same time so they're ready to use on future cards. :)
Next up the Christmas prompt:
I wanted to feature little houses with windows and doors in a snowy scene, and add a bit of teal for good measure:
Paper: Pinkfresh Studio
Dies: Simon Says Stamp
Sequins: Jillibean Soup
Other: 3D foam tape
I knew I had the perfect elements for this card in the December card kit from Simon Says Stamp. It featured this lovely 6x6 paper by Pinkfresh Studio plus some of the dies I got for Christmas were finally going to get used. :)
