2016 card challenge - February prompts

Morning everyone!

Happy new month! :)

Here are the prompts for this month's card challenge inspiration.

First up a bright and happy mood board:

So what can you incorporate on your card?

Polka dots
Pencils - you colour my world-style quotes
Geometric backgrounds - look to your embossing folders if you don't have papers/stamps that do the job
Inspirational quotes
Gold foil
Hearts, hearts galore!
Repeat stamping/stamped backgrounds
Watercolour backgrounds/washes
Balloons
Horizontal stripes
White on black backgrounds
Chalkboard style
Diamonds/gems
A night sky complete with a radiant moon - why not give this technique a go?
A combination of any of the colour dots

So more than plenty to go on! :D

And for the Christmas inspiration:

It might look like there's only a few ways this one could go, but thinking a little beyond holly/mistletoe:

Why not incorporate felt?
Use non-traditional colours for your card or even to stamp a holly pattern as a background
Use sequins and gems
Sew on your project
Create a foliage accent
Incorporate texture
Focus on silver, white and frosty tones
Use monochromatic colours as your only colours in addition to neutrals
