Welcome to another Friday and another new challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog!
This week we're celebrating music, and well... I really needed to get into the festive mood for cardmaking (the struggle is real right now!) so I popped on some Christmas music and decided to make a festive card for this dare.
The paper I've chosen was the last bit piece of the sheet from an October Afternoon collection, and it has verses of carols in some of the dots, and well I love a sentiment set where the sentiments are also from Christmas carols and songs.
Paper: October Afternoon
Dies: Lil' Inker Designs, MFT, PTI, Lawn Fawn
Stamp: WPlus9
Enamel dots: Basic Grey
Other: 3D foam tape
I couldn't quite find the right background for the little Christmas tree, and in the end I re-purposed the packaging from a set of Elle's Studio Christmas die-cuts I bought last year as it was the perfect "snowy scene" and a lot more interesting than boring old white. I also don't think I will ever get over how cute this tree die by Lil' Inker Designs is - I use it so much on Christmas cards.
Remember to pop on over to the Daring Cardmakers blog to see the musical masterpieces the design team have come up with - there are some really, really creative card ideas!
Happy weekend!
Very cute girl! TFS!!

Love that little tree. I have also been watching Christmas films to find some inspiration. My daughter keeps reminding me that its not Christmas yet, lol!
