So along with my little PTI splurge the other week I also decided to fill the kit void that I've felt for a bit.
It's been a while since I subscribed to any kit - especially a card kit. I remember the happy days of the Self-Addressed cardmaking kit, those were fab kits and then when those kits finished I switched to some scrapping kits until they just didn't do it for me any more.
So it's been a good few years since I had a regular craft delivery to my door every month where I didn't choose the contents and there was an element of surprise. :)
I finally took the plunge and signed up for the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit starting with the October kit:
I got to play with it yesterday for a card I'll share later in the week, but I also needed to make a flat card for posting to Poland - so enter the kit for a very simple creation because anything that has to stay flat feels to me like it needs to be simple!
Paper and journaling card: MME - My Story
Stamps: PTI, Simon Says Stamp
Other: enamel heart
I cannot tell you how hard it was to resist the urge to bring out the 3D foam tape for a bit of dimension, but hopefully this card will make it to the recipient without any issues. :)
