Things have been busy behind the scenes at home recently - but it's time for a little spring cleaning on my PC and to-do list and I wanted to share the rest of the card projects I made for my Hey Little Magpie blog post this month before April arrives! :)
I already shared more details about one of the cards here.
But yes here are the rest.
First up the Simple Stories stripes:
Paper, die-cut, sticker, enamel dots: Simple Stories I Am collection
Other: 3D foam
This has to be one of the simplest cards ever. Just some pretty background paper, die-cut ephemera with added heart sticker, and matching enamel dots for pop.
Next up, a take on a tried-and-tested new home card design that I've used many a time!
Paper, chipboard frame, chipboard accent, stickers, enamel dots: Simple Stories I Am collection
Stamp: Papertrey Ink
Other: 3D foam
I love how simple sentiments can fit in the white stripes of this background paper, there's nothing more needed, just a couple of enamel dots to make the sentiment stand out and ta-da!
And another I Am collection card - this one makes use of the travel themed chipboard frame and the suitcase elements in the collection:
Paper, stickers, chipboard frame, enamel dots: Simple Stories I Am collection
Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Other: 3D foam
I added lots of sticker elements to the suitcase and inside the frame and of course enamel dots!
This next card uses a mix of Simple Stories I Am collection and My Mind's Eye Fancy That collection:
Paper: Simple Stories, My Mind's Eye
Chipboard: MME
Ephemera: Simple Stories
Dies: PTI, MFT
Stamp: WPlus9
Other: 3D foam
I love the contrast of the blush pink and gold from the Fancy That collection against the black striped Simple Stories paper. :)
My Mind's Eye also have some great simple stripes in its On Trend collection too:
Paper: MME
Die-cut: Simple Stories
Stamp: Papertrey Ink
Enamel dots: MME
Other: 3D foam
A really simple card again, but I love that the scripty stamped greeting fits into the white space so nicely and how lovely that gold foiled bike die-cut goes with the rest of the card. :)
The next card is a celebration of all that gold foiling in the Fancy That collection!
Paper: MME
Die-cut ephemera: MME
Chipboard bird: Simple Stories
Sticker: MME
Enamel dots: MME
Stamps: MFT, WPlus9
Other: 3D foam
I love the gold-striped background paper in the 6x6 Fancy That pad - lots of gold goodness on this card. The die-cut frame is from the Fancy That mixed bag, as is the speech bubble. The "celebrate" is a sticker from the same line. I just added the stamped Make a Wish and happy birthday. Also thought the mint/gold chipboard bird from the I Am collection was a good match here. :)
And finally, there had to be something wedding-related using the Fancy That line, right?
Paper, stickers, die-cut, enamel dots: My Mind's Eye Fancy That collection
Die: MFT
Other: 3D foam
The gold foil alpha stickers are a great size for cards too - I created a double-ended banner with the Fishtail Stax dies from MFT and finished everything off with a couple of enamel dots from the Fancy That collection. :)
And that's it for March's projects. :D
I have just found your blog - beautiful cards! The products used are lush and right up my ally. Thanks for the inspiration!
