You can keep your hat on

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog, it's Miri's turn to set the challenge!

And it's all about headgear - hats, headdresses, crowns, you name it, it can go on a card!

I went for a shabby chic look combining some old, you might say vintage, purchases. :)

Paper: Pink Paislee
Stamps: Just Rite
Die: Lil Inker Designs
Resin embellishment: Melissa Frances
Pearls: Kaisercraft
Punch: Martha Stewart
Other: heart doily, sewing machine, 3D foam, seam binding

It's been a while since I went for a vintage look and naturally that London Market paper pack is my go-to collection for it. I really wanted to keep the simple look for the Keep Calm card but needed it to pop on the card, enter the seam binding frilly border and a couple of Martha Stewart punched butterflies for good measure. :)

Your card is beautiful! I love the dark accents (sentiment and the two thin stripes of paper) with the pastell colours.
