Over on the Daring Cardmakers blog today, Zuz has set us the challenge of featuring envelopes or pockets on our cards.
Well I had a couple of dies in mind for my project but yet again I went off on a slight tangent to what I was originally planning to do... hm... that seems to be happening a lot lately!
Anyhoo, I still managed to feature some envelopes, just not quite the way I wanted to!
Paper: Crate Paper, Elle's Studio
Dies: Lil' Inker Designs, Lawn Fawn, WPlus9, Paper Smooches
Stamp: WPlus9
Bow: Crate Paper
Enamel dots: MME
Other: 3D foam
It's a very plain and understated card, yes.... but I quite liked the subtle contrast of the two blue papers which are from the same collection so a perfect colour match, just different patterns. Handy! And yes, fluttery hearts seem to be my default go-to final touch right now.
Well, perhaps I shall be mixing it up a bit better next week. ;o)
Don't forget to check out the wonderful creations by the rest of the Design Team and we'd love to see your take on the theme!
those enamel hearts are the perfect closure on the envelopes - and I'm not tired of the fluttering hearts yet either. this is adorable
