It's funny I've not had chance to read anything new since my birthday despite lots of lovely things coming in at the library for me... I ended up having to return them undread so the next person on the list could enjoy them...
Maybe November will be a better month for reading. ;o)
In the meantime, the challenge set by Beckie over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week is to take a page from an old book and use it on your card.
Well, I didn't have any books lying around ready to have pages torn from them, so I looked about for some book paper in my stash and settled on a Christmas card approach:
Paper: Fancy Pants, Crate Paper, Pink Paislee
Die-cut elements: Pink Paislee
Sticker: Crate Paper
Enamel dots: Freckled Fawn, Basic Grey
Other: 3D foam
I used some of the glittered elements from the ephemera pack by Pink Paislee in their new Merry & Bright Christmas collection. I love the white glittered accents and that huge bow! The perfect way to glam up that sentiment label. :)
I think it's likely I'll be primarily making Christmas cards here on out as I seem to be in the zone for that right now... not to mention I have these to sort out and play with next:
Why must there be so many pretty (and of course slightly different) snowflake dies to choose from? It makes the decision impossible - i.e. why choose when you can have them all!? ;)
Needless to say I shall be working to get snowflakes on as many cards and tags between now and December as I can!
