52 Cards challenge 2014 - Week 41

Morning folks!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend - the dark nights and darker mornings are really starting to kick in now, not long until the clocks will be changing!

It's week 41 and time for another sketch prompt. :D

Well I decided for the main card for this week I'd have a little play with some of my new stash from the Maggie Holmes Open Book line for Crate Paper available at Hey Little Magpie.

Paper, chipboard and die-cut ephemera: Crate Paper
Dies: WPlus9
Other: sewing machine, 3D foam

Lots of bold tones in this collection and the ephemera pack is definitely "ephemera" like - loads of commercial/scientific/photographic elements and of course more gold bits and pieces. I thought the Hand Lettered Thanks die set from WPlus9 really fit in with the look of this collection. :o)

Will be good to mix this collection in with other Crate Paper releases, I think it will work quite well with Close Knit from last year too.

Anyway, I'll pop back later this week to share my Christmas card for this sketch - a much simpler affair! ;)
