Weekend hijinks

Well after the mammoth crafting session on Saturday, Sunday was spent out and about in the sunshine of York with friends.

It was so sunny in fact I had trouble getting some decent pics of our little group without blinding them:

After lunch (sadly not the Yorkshire pudding wraps we'd been looking forward to) we strolled up to the Minster - not that you can really see it, and I promise the sky was blue...

There may have been some sweet purchases at various fudge stops and the like...

And there may have been cake....

The good news is that Patisserie Valerie is coming to Newcastle - in a couple of months apparently! I wonder where it'll be located. :D

After the last cake and refreshments of the day it was time to go wait for the last Park and Ride bus to take us back to the car - good job we checked the time as we'd have been locked out otherwise!

A very nice day indeed. Let's hope this weather continues for a bit longer, especially around the 19th as I have a little visitor coming to stay for the weekend. ;o)
