September colour challenge on the DCM blog

Goodness me, Friday has flown around so quickly!

And it's the first Friday of the month to boot, so the task of choosing the colours for this month's challenge fell to Sharon.

Our inspiration comes in the form of this lovely mug on Sharon's desk:

I went with the blues and neutral shades and cracked open my new WPlus9 Fresh cut container stamps and dies:

Paper: Crate Paper, American Crafts, Canvas Corp
Stamps: WPlus9, Avery Elle
Dies: Lawn Fawn, WPlus9
Other: 3D foam

I needed to keep this card relatively flat for posting so had to resist making the flowers pop even more! Also as you can see it was a belated birthday card, I used the "belated" note from Avery Elle's Handwritten Notes stamp set and inserted it in that lovely birthday greeting from WPlus9, using blue ink to make it stand out more.

Looking forward to playing with this stamp set more when I get a moment. :) In the meantime go check out the lovely inspiration from the rest of the Daring Cardmakers design team!
