February 2014 pocket pages

Well based on the photos I selected for February it was quite a quiet month, but there were some very nice activities involved. :)

Here's page 1 - continuing with my use of the pages from my desktop calendar as they're done...

February was definitely a good month for foody things - dinner out, pancakes, and Polish Faworki and doughnuts for Karnewal.

I used lots of chipboard elements and stickers from Crate Paper's Oh Darling line, plus plenty of Crate papers and journaling cards.

And page 2:

More Crate with Valentine's papers mixed in with the Oh Darling cards. Also plenty of alpha stickers from Elle's Studio and Basic Grey. February was also the month of languishing on the sofa watching the Winter Olympics and reading the best book I'd read so far that year - Lianne Moriarty's The Husband's Secret.

All the pics were taken on my iPhone so they're not the best quality especially considering the photos themselves were Instagram shots.... But good to get February in the album. I'll have to start thinking about getting photos printed for our next crop soon - it'll be here before I know it!

In other news I had a nice happy mail delivery today:

Guess who's looking forward to playing with these festive goodies? Won't be tonight I'm afraid as I didn't fall asleep until 4.30 a.m. today after reading to midnight and then being too awake to sleep, so I just kept on reading until I was tired. Yep, 2 and a half hours sleep isn't the best. I'm sure I'll be off to sleep earlier tonight!
