Back to blogland!

Well it's been a while! But I'm now back from my holiday in Poland and hoping to get back to my craft desk very soon, although there are still quite a few books on my Kindle that I need to finish! ;o)

But first, before heading off on holiday I was sent a good many items by DoCrafts for this week's sponsored dare over on the Daring Cardmakers blog.

Among them was this brand new Tea Party die set which will be available in September:

Beckie has set the challenge this week, and that's to make a card focussing on parties and festivals.

Well I wanted to set the scene for a tea party in a marquee and this is how it turned out:

Dies: Xcut, PTI, Memory Box
Paper: PTI, Pink Paislee
Stamps: MFT, Just Rite
Other: Stickles, Promarker

So there definitely needed to be a tea-related sentiment in there to go with the frilly tablecloth, and the floral marquee complete with bunting. ;o)

The design team have really gone to town with their dies for this dare so definitely check out the blog - there's also a special give-away too!!
