It's been a while since I shared some pins.... so I thought tonight I'd share some pins of some of the things I am loving lately.
Numero uno, after a good few years I finally have my vintage Cepelia poster up on the wall above my craft desk:
It had to go to a framers as it's a non-standard size in the UK and definitely needed a nice black frame. I've still not got quite used to this little lady being up above me as I work but it'll soon be like she's always been there!
Number two is the best book I have read this year alongside the Husband's Secret - but it's very, very different. In fact I spent a good part of my birthday finishing this book in bed before getting up. Time very much well spent:
Next there have been a few additions to my nail varnish collection courtesy of the duty free shop on the ferry.... and I just had to have a summer poppy/coral shade - aptly named for a holiday purchase - OPI's Are We There Yet?
In the crafty stakes I couldn't resist a few items from the most recent WPlus9 release this month, and well you know my weakness for Fresh Cut Florals, now I have Fresh Cut Containers and the matching dies - hoping to have time soon to have a good mess about with them:
And finally, I can't really find a picture online, but my mum made a seriously delicious fruit tiramisu cake from a Polish recipe that we tried first hand on holiday. No decent pictures to be had but the end result went down very well with everyone wanting second helpings! Good job as it was huuuuuuuge! It was not too dissimilar to this pic, except there were more layers inside of sponge and fruit between the mascarpone. Luckily enough we bought a lot of nice jellies in Poland just for recipes like this one!
