I spotted the new challenge over at Make the Day Special which came up on my Facebook feed the other day.
It's all about CASE-ing an early creation and giving it your current twist.
Well, I ended up going back to 2009 as any more searching looking at old cards was making me feel a bit like shouting "What was I thinking when I made that!?" - there was no way I was going back to pre-2003! LOL
So I ultimately settled on this Easter card from 2009:
Well after a bit of dithering, here's what I made - spot the differences and similarities? Well there are birdies, scalloped edges, a bow, the contrast between the middle panel and the rest of the card, speech bubbles, 3D foam, and some marker colouring. :) That'll do!
Paper: Pink Paislee, Lawn Fawn
Dies: Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant
Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Other: 3D foam, Promarkers
I'm happy to say I am definitely getting my money's worth from these Spring Showers dies by Lawn Fawn, not to mention the little birdies. :D They are just perfect for so many occasions. And of course the dainty bow by Mama Elephant is a great alternative to fiddly bow tying with ribbon!
Right, I'd best get my desk tidied and everything put away. :)
Oh wow! I love the new version so happy, summery and so full of Lawn fawn :) It doesn't get much better than that.

That's some CASE history Nat! The old version is cute but the new one is a knockout. Love the patterns you chose.
Thanks for playing in our challenge this month - it seems to have scared a lot of people off!
