As promised I'm back to share my card celebrating Baby Emilka's arrival last week. :)
When it's a special, special card for someone I end up faffing even more than usual and often being close to starting again from scratch - but I stuck to my original plan for this one and I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope the new parents will be too - when it finally arrives! ;)
Paper: Crate Paper, MME
Dies: Lawn Fawn
Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Chipboard and ephemera: Crate Paper
Journaling card: Crate Paper
Chipboard letters: Basic Grey
Enamel dots: Basic Grey
Other: 3D foam
The journaling card is actually cut down from a 6x4 card and stamped with Emilka's birth date. The little hearts are from the stitched journaling card die set, very handy to add a little filler. The fancy bits stamped around "Welcome baby" are from the Lawn Fawn Sophie's Sentiments stamp set. I couldn't resist some more stitched edging, so used the lovely border die in the background. :)
Congratulations "Aunty" Nat! Im curious, do you pronounce the K? Emil-ka?
