Well, it's time for our monthly colour challenge over on the DCM blog this week, and our colour pick this time comes from Lythan:
Well, it was a bit of a tricky one for me, as the photo is so overwhelmingly red and grey, but I wanted to go for something a bit different:
Paper: Crate Paper
Dies: WPlus9, MFT
Stamp: WPlus9
Other: enamel dots, twine, 3D foam, Glossy Accents
I went for a neutral greyish background then added pops of colour with patterned paper from the Party Day 6x6 pad, then the "happy" is die-cut from a dark grey and I added Glossy Accents to it for extra pop. A touch of white brings all the colours out even more. :)
I think this card will do very well for a male birthday, so definitely a good one to have on hand.

I think the pops of colour are perfect... as are the taut strings :)

That's a lovely card! The bright balloons look great on the sheet music background.
