52 Cards challenge 2014 - Week 15

Hello everyone!

It's the start of a brand new week and the arrival of a brand new prompt.

This week's theme is:

All creatures great and small

So it's all about featuring animals on your card - any animal will do (preferably a few), from those popular cardmaker's favourites like birds and pets to the more exotic and unusual.

You can also try and see whether there are animal-related tales or songs that can be transformed into a card... Nelly the elephant? The animals went in two by two?

I wonder if you can find a different group of animals to share on your Christmas Cracker card this week, can you find something other than that Christmas favourite the robin? :)

Here's my card for the week:

Paper: Jillibean Soup
Stickers: Doodlebug
Woodgrain enamel dots: Studio Calico
Stamps: PTI
Alpha dies: PTI
Balloon die: WPlus9
Other: 3D foam, twine, Glossy Accents

Big thanks to my great pal (and fellow hoarder of "stuff we bought in the early days") Becky for access to her Doodlebug Jungle and Safari stickers for this special card. :) As you can see I went to town quite a bit, buuuut I did make the rest myself, promise! That includes the grass background. LOL

I also added plenty of dimension with 3D foam, including a bit under just the front of the lion to lift that part up more, and I applied Glossy Accents to the balloon so it was nice and shiny. :)

I look forward to seeing this week's array of animal magic!

I absolutely adore this card Nat, love the extra dimension especially the way the lion is leaning over the edge - brilliant. You've also reminded me that I need to get cracking making a 'look who's turning 2' card!
